The simulations are based on the
"Physlets" developed by Wolfgang Christian at Davidson College
and generously shared with other educational institutions.
This simulation shows a collection of particles initially confined to one side of a box. When you press the No Barrier button, particles can freely pass to the other side. You can also change the temperature or number of particles on either side.
The graphs show the temperature and number for the left hand side in red, and for the right hand side in blue.
